Common use of Reimbursement for Take Home Vehicles Clause in Contracts

Reimbursement for Take Home Vehicles. Employees living outside Xxxxx County, but within ten (10) miles of the county line, shall reimburse the City $25.00 per pay period for the use of the take home vehicle. The reimbursement will automatically be deducted from the employee’s bi-weekly pay. However, the following shall apply: A. Should take home vehicles become inoperable as verified by the Office of the Sheriff, the assigned employee will be reimbursed at the rate of $3.56 per actual day worked; and B. Employees assigned to a motorcycle unit without also being assigned an additional take home vehicle are exempt from this subsection.
