Common use of Reimbursement Provisions Clause in Contracts

Reimbursement Provisions. 1 Employees may be reimbursed for up to 50 percent (50%) of the cost of tuition on successful completion of an approved study course. 2 Employees who wish to retain the textbooks purchased for the study course may be reimbursed up to 50 percent (50%) of the cost upon successful completion of an approved study course, provided the textbooks were not available from the County Library. 3 Employees may be reimbursed for up to 100 percent (100%) of the cost of required textbooks on successful completion of the study courses provided the text books are requested by the County Library. Such County Library textbooks will be made available to employees for home study when not in use by an employee enrolled in a study course. 4 Reimbursement for purchases of textbooks available from the County Library will not be made. 5 Employees shall be reimbursed for 100 percent (100%) of their cost in attending study courses or training sessions mandated by the Employer without recourse to the provisions contained in subsection ( c) below.
