Common use of Rejected Policies Clause in Contracts

Rejected Policies. The parties acknowledge that policyholders of Tagged Policies have the right to reject Insurer’s offer of coverage and to remain policyholders of Citizens. Accordingly, Insurer shall mail to the policyholders the Initial Notice disclosing such right. After the mailing of the Initial Notice, and prior to the Assumption Date, the Insurer shall be responsible for obtaining written confirmation from any Policyholder requesting that their Policy not be removed from CITIZENS. Such information shall be remitted to CITIZENS in an electronic format acceptable to CITIZENS.
