Rejection And Correction Of Work In Progress. During the course of Project, the General Contractor shall inspect and promptly reject any Work (i) which does not conform to the Construction Documents; or (ii) which does not comply with any applicable law, statute, building code, rule or regulation of any governmental, public and quasi-public authorities and agencies having jurisdiction over the Project. 8.1.1 The General Contractor shall promptly correct or require the correction of all rejected Work, whether observed before or after Substantial Completion and whether or not fabricated, installed or completed. The General Contractor shall bear all costs of correcting such Work, including additional testing and inspections and compensation for all services and expenses necessitated by such correction. 8.1.2 The General Contractor shall bear the cost of correcting destroyed or damaged Work, whether completed or partially completed, of the Owner or other trade contractors or subcontractors caused by the General Contractor's correction or removal of rejected Work.
