Related Rights. 1. Further to Article 1.2 (Relation to Other Agreements), the Parties affirm their existing rights and obligations under the WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty (1996). 2. Each Party shall provide that performers and producers of phonograms11 have the right to authorize or prohibit12 all reproductions of their performances13 and phonograms, in any manner or form, permanent or temporary (including temporary storage in electronic form). 10 The expressions “copies” and “original and copies,” being subject to the right of distribution under this paragraph, refer exclusively to fixed copies that can be put into circulation as tangible objects.
