Release Time for Federation President. A. In recognition of the responsibilities of the Federation regarding faculty representation and matters related to this Agreement, the Employer agrees to provide the Federation President, or designee, a one-third (1/3) reduction in teaching load during fall, winter, and spring quarters. B. In recognition of the responsibilities associated with preparing for and participation in contract negotiations, the Employer agrees to provide the Federation President a one-half (1/2) reduction in teaching load for two quarters during such negotiations.
