Common use of Relieved from Assignment or Duty Clause in Contracts

Relieved from Assignment or Duty. When a member is relieved from assignment or duty, the member shall be entitled to, upon request, an explanation from the Chief of Police or designee of the reasons for such actions within twenty-four (24) hours. The City shall provide the Lodge with a copy of the Relieved from Duty form.
