Common use of Relocation of Service Connections Clause in Contracts

Relocation of Service Connections. The utility Owner will relocate service connections as necessary within the limits of the work or within temporary construction or slope easements. When directed by Owner, XXXX shall arrange for the relocation of service connections as necessary between the meter and property line, or between a meter and the limits of temporary construction or slope easements. Unless, otherwise specified in the Contract Documents, payment for the relocation of such service connections shall be in accordance with the “Changes” Section of these General Conditions, and will include the restoration of all existing improvements which may be affected thereby. XXXX may agree with the Owner of any utility to disconnect and reconnect interfering service connections, and Owner will not be involved in any such agreement.
