Remote User Communication. If End User is employing remote communication to access or transmit Confidential Data, a virtual private network (VPN) must be installed on the End User’s mobile device(s) or laptop from which information will be transmitted or accessed.

Transport Layer Security Protocol (TLS) ENTITY may not use TLS to transmit Confidential Data without written exception from the DHHS Information Security Office. Wireless Devices. If ENTITY is transmitting Confidential Data via wireless devices, all data shall be encrypted to prevent inappropriate disclosure of information.
