Renewable Energy Claims. In accordance with Section 8(b), you understand that you are not purchasing renewable energy directly and therefore have no claim to renewable energy credits (“Renewable Energy Credits”) generated by the System. The Renewable Energy Credits generated by the System shall be owned by SPC unless transferred by SPC to the Electric Utility or another third party, or unless ownership of the Renewable Energy Credits accrues to a third party pursuant to applicable law.
