Common use of Renewal and Extensions Clause in Contracts

Renewal and Extensions. Prior to the end of any year of this Contract, the Board and Superintendent may mutually agree to renew or extend the employment of the Superintendent, provided that the performance goals and indicators set forth in Section D.3 of this Contract have been met. In that event, the Board will take specific action to discontinue this Contract and enter a new contract of employment.
