Common use of REOPENER PROVISION Clause in Contracts

REOPENER PROVISION. If during the life of the Agreement bargaining is reopened by mutual agreement or due to a specified reopener provision in the Agreement, the parties shall meet and bargain within ten (10) work days of the request for bargaining. If such in term bargaining does not result in agreement between both parties within twenty-one (21) days of the first bargaining session, either party may declare impasse. Once impasse is declared the parties will follow the procedures stated in Article 17, below.
