Replacement and Accountability. Items issued as provided above may be replaced on an exchange basis when worn out or damaged beyond repair in the line of duty. The title of all issued clothing and equipment remains with the District and upon termination, all such clothing and equipment will be turned over to the District or, in lieu thereof, the original cost reimbursed thereto.
