Convention of 26 July 1995 on the protection of the European Communities' financial interests The following provisions of that Convention shall apply: – Article 1 General provisions, definitions (1) by taking the necessary measures to ensure that the conduct referred to in Article 1, and participating in, instigating, or attempting the conduct referred to in Article 1(1), are punishable by effective, proportionate and dissuasive criminal penalties Timetable: these provisions of that Convention shall be implemented upon the entry into force of this Agreement.
