3. If expenses of an extraordinary nature are required to execute the request, the Associated Parties shall determine the terms and conditions under which the request is to be executed, as well as the manner in which such costs are to be borne.

Without prejudice to Article 11, these agreements do not prejudice Community provisions governing the communication between the competent services of the Commission and the customs authorities of the Member States of any information obtained in customs matters which could be of Community interest. 2. If during the execution of a request it becomes apparent that completion of the execution of the request will entail expenses of an extraordinary nature, the Customs authorities shall consult to determine the terms and conditions under which the execution may continue.
Assistance expenses. 1. The Party receiving the request shall assume all ordinary expenses incurred in executing the request. The Party making the request shall bear the expenses in relation to experts and witnesses, and, where applicable, interpreters and translators.
2. If, during the execution of the request, it becomes apparent that expenses of an extraordinary or substantial nature are required to fulfil the request, the Parties shall consult to determine the terms and conditions under which the execution of the request is to be effected or continued.
