Requests for Retraining Leave. Requests for retraining may be initiated by the faculty member or the District. If a need for retraining exists, the faculty member, in consultation with the appropriate administrator, shall prepare a proposed retraining plan. The appropriate administrator shall submit a recommended plan for consideration to the Vice President or President. Retraining plans are subject to the approval of the President and the Board of Trustees.
