Required Appearances. Whenever an employee is required to appear before the Superintendent or his designee, the Board or any committee or member thereof concerning any matter which could adversely affect the continuation of his employment, or the salary or any increments pertaining thereto he shall be given prior written notice of the reasons for such meeting or interview and shall have the right to have a person of his choosing present to advise him and represent him during such meeting or interview. Any suspension shall be in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 18A:25-6 and the Board shall comply with N.J.S.A. 18A:6-8.3.
Required Appearances a. Court by subpoena or summons as required
b. Income tax investigation - one (1) day
c. If a member is called for jury duty, a leave of absence with pay, not chargeable against the member’s leave time allowance, shall be granted if such member cannot be excused from jury duty. Upon receipt of the notice that the member is being chosen for the jury panel, such member shall immediately notify the Human Resources Department. The District shall pay the member the difference between the jury fee received and the member’s current pay so that the member receives full current salary less deductions from the two sources.

Whenever any faculty member is required by the College to appear before the President, Vice President, Board, or any committee or member thereof in a meeting concerning any matter which could directly and adversely affect the continuation of that employee in their position or the salary pertaining thereto, they shall be given prior written notice of the reasons for such meeting or interview and shall be entitled to have an Association representative present to advise them and represent them during such meeting or interview. Routine interaction and evaluation meetings between a College administrator and a member of the faculty are not subject to the above Section.

Whenever any faculty member is required by the Employer to appear before the President, Vice-President, Board, or any committee or member thereof in a meeting concerning any matter which could directly and adversely affect the continuation of that employee in his/her position or the salary pertaining thereto, he/she shall be given prior written notice of the reasons for such meeting or interview and shall be entitled to have a representative of the Association or legal counsel present to advise him/her and represent him/her during such meeting or interview. Routine interaction and evaluation meetings between a College administrator and a member of the faculty are not subject to the above Section.
Required Appearances. Whenever any Administrator is required to appear before the Superintendent or Board, or any committee or member thereof for the purpose of discussing the possible withholding of an increment, suspension and/or termination of employment of that Administrator, the Administrator shall be given 48 hours notice (which will be in written form), except in case of extreme urgency, of the reasons for such meeting to interview and may (at the Administrator's discretion) have (a) representative(s) of the Association and/or attorney present to represent and advise during such meeting or interview.
Required Appearances. You agree to appear at all official MeatUp USA events at the weekend of the contest, including, the meet and greet, Interview, the contest, and the Sunday pool party or other official event. Failure to appear as scheduled may result in disqualification.
Required Appearances. Time lost by an employee in connection with an appearance before a judicial body or legal authority for the foregoing reasons shall result in no loss in wages or benefits.

Whenever any administrator is required to appear before the Board, or any committee or member thereof for the purpose of discussing the possible termination of employment of that administrator, the administrator shall be given prior notice (which will be in written form) of the reasons for such meeting or interview and may (at the administrator’s discretion) have (a) representative/s of the Association and/or attorney present to represent and advise during such meeting or interview.
Required Appearances. Whenever any administrator is required to appear before the Superintendent and/or the Board for the purpose of discussing the possible termination of employment of or disciplinary action towards that administrator, the administrator, shall be given 5 calendar days prior notice (which will be in written form) of the reasons for such meeting or interview and may (at the administrator’s discretion) have (a) representative(s) of the Association and/or its attorney present to represent and advise during such meeting or interview. (Any suspension shall be with pay until formal determination by the Board of Education.)
