Requirement by College to Take Leave. Notwithstanding clause 34.1, where the duties of a pregnant Employee’s position cannot reasonably be performed by a pregnant woman or the performance of the Employee’s work is materially affected, the College shall attempt to temporarily modify the Employee’s duties or temporarily re- assign the Employee to alternate duties. Where modification or re-assignment is not reasonably possible, the College may require the Employee to take unpaid leave of absence or sick leave, as appropriate.
