Common use of Requirement of Writing Clause in Contracts

Requirement of Writing. To the extent Service Provider is required under this Agreement to obtain DIR's approval, consent or agreement, such approval, consent or agreement must be in writing and must be signed by, or directly transmitted by electronic mail from, the DIR Managed Applications Services Manager or an authorized DIR representative. Notwithstanding the preceding sentence, the DIR Managed Applications Services Manager may agree in advance in writing that as to certain specific matters oral approval, consent or agreement shall be sufficient.
