Common use of Resale Clause in Contracts

Resale. The resale/re-rental and/or transfer of booking rooms is not permitted. In particular the transfer of rooms and/or allotments to third parties at higher prices than the actual room prices is not permitted. The assignment or sale of the claim against Motel One is also not permitted. Motel One is in these cases entitled to cancel the booking, in particular if upon the assignment/sale the Guest has made untrue statements to the third party about the nature of the booking or the payment. Use of the hotel room for any purpose other than overnight accommodation is expressly forbidden.
