Resignation From Contract Clause Samples
The Resignation From Contract clause outlines the process by which a party may voluntarily withdraw from their obligations under a contract. Typically, this clause specifies the notice period required, any formal steps that must be taken (such as written notification), and may address the consequences or penalties for resigning. For example, an employee or contractor might need to provide two weeks' notice before their resignation is effective. The core function of this clause is to provide a clear and orderly mechanism for ending contractual relationships, thereby minimizing disruption and ensuring both parties understand their rights and responsibilities in the event of a resignation.
