Resignation with proper notice Clause Samples

The 'Resignation with proper notice' clause defines the requirement for an employee to formally notify their employer in advance before ending their employment. Typically, this clause specifies the minimum notice period—such as two weeks or one month—that the employee must provide, and may outline the acceptable methods for delivering this notice, like written communication. Its core function is to ensure a smooth transition by giving the employer sufficient time to plan for the employee’s departure, thereby minimizing disruption to business operations.
