Paid Personal Day. Regular full time and regular part time employees shall be entitled to one paid personal day per year. This benefit shall be pro-rated for part time employees. Employees must have completed their probationary period to be eligible for a personal day. Personal days shall be scheduled by mutual agreement between the Employer and employee.

Paid Personal Day. Regular full-time employees who have completed two (2) or more years of continuous service with the Employer shall be eligible for two (2) paid personal days per year of employment thereafter. Such paid personal days shall not be accumulated or carried over from one year to the next and shall not be paid if unused. All requests for use of paid personal days shall be submitted, in writing, to the Employer's Director of Operations; and the granting or denial of any such request shall be in the Employer's discretion.
Paid Personal Day. Employees shall be allowed to use one (1) day per year from their sick leave accumulation as Paid Personal Day which is not to be used in conjunction with vacation days.

The pay for a personal day shall be equal Co the employee's straight Cime regular rate of pay for up to the number of straight time hours the employee was otherwise scheduled to work. A paid personal day shall be scheduled in advance by mutual agreement between the employee and the Employer, taking into cosideration the personnel and service requirements of the Employer and the efficiency of operations, provided however, that the advance scheduling requirement shall not apply in emergency situations.

  • Personal Day All employees shall receive a personal day in each contract year. This personal day is in addition to the holidays listed in paragraph 3 above.   • Unpaid Personal Leave Where an employee has exhausted all paid personal leave entitlements, they are entitled to take unpaid personal leave to care for members of their immediate family or household who are sick and require care and support or who require care due to an unexpected emergency. The employer and the employee shall agree on the period. In the absence of agreement, the employee is entitled to take up to two days (up to a maximum of 16 hours) of unpaid leave per occasion, provided the requirements of 7.2.5(a) and 7.2.5(b) are met.
