Resolving. a dispute at the workplace level (a) Subject to the provisions of the Workplace Relations Act 1996 the following procedure shall apply to the avoidance of industrial disputes. (b) The parties to a dispute must genuinely attempt to resolve the dispute at the workplace leave. This may involve the affected employee first discussing the matter in dispute with their supervisor, then with more senior management.
