Responding to parent. community/student complaints 9.9A The Association and the District agree that employees will be provided with notification of an alleged violation of policy, procedure, practice, or law as soon as practical unless there are specific reasons for delaying such notification relative to the efficacy of an investigative process. This allows the employee to respond while the issue is still timely. The employee will be informed of the nature of the complaint or concern prior to being requested to provide verbal or written input. If the employee has a reasonable basis to believe that the inquiry could lead to discipline, the employee may request that an Association representative be present before continuing the meeting or providing input.
