Response To City Calls. A.1 If on-call during a rotation, Contractor/Service Provider shall respond to calls 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week. For tow service requests located west of the Interstate 805, Contractor/Service Provider shall respond within twenty (20) minutes of being notified by the City. Thirty (30) minute response times are authorized for locations east of Interstate 805. “Response time” shall be measured from the time of notification to arrival at the tow site. A.2 Contractor/Service Provider shall respond with a properly equipped tow truck of the class required to tow the vehicle and perform requested service. A.3 Contractor/Service Provider shall advise City dispatch, at the time of notification, if Contractor/Service Provider is unable to respond or unable to meet the maximum response time.
