Responsibilities of Maintenance Contractor During Suspension Periods. During periods that any Maintenance Services are suspended, Maintenance Contractor shall continue to be responsible for the Maintenance Services that are not suspended and shall prevent damage or injury to the Project, provide for drainage and shall erect necessary temporary structures, signs or other facilities required to maintain the Project. During any suspension period, Maintenance Contractor shall maintain in a growing condition all newly established plantings, seedings and soddings furnished under the CMA Documents and shall protect new tree growth and other vegetative growth against injury, replacing all dead plants requiring replacement during the suspension period. Additionally, Maintenance Contractor shall continue other Maintenance Services that have been or can be performed at the Site or offsite during the period that the Maintenance Services are suspended.
