Restrictions on Processing. Section 4.1 (Independent Controllers) will not affect any restrictions on either party’s rights to use or otherwise process Controller Personal Data under the Agreement.
Restrictions on Processing. 3.1 Service Provider shall Process the Personal Information in compliance with its obligations under the Data Protection Laws and only as necessary for the purposes of performing under the Agreement.
3.2 To the extent that Service Provider is Processing any Personal Information on behalf of Customer, Service Provider shall Process the Personal Information only on documented instructions from Customer, unless required to do so by applicable law to which Service Provider is subject; in such a case, Service Provider shall inform Customer of that legal requirement before Processing, unless that law prohibits such information on important grounds of public interest. Service Provider shall immediately inform Customer if, in its opinion, an instruction infringes the Data Protection Laws.
Restrictions on Processing. 3.1. Vendor is prohibited from retaining, using, or disclosing the Personal Information for any purpose other than for the specific purpose of performing the Services specified in the Agreement for Customer, as set out in this Addendum, or as otherwise permitted by the CCPA.
3.2. Vendor shall not further collect, sell, or use the Personal Information except as necessary to perform the Business Purpose. For the avoidance of doubt, Vendor shall not use the Personal Information for the purpose of providing services to another person or entity, except as permitted by the CCPA except that Vendor may combine Personal Information received from one or more entities to which it provides similar services to the extent necessary to detect data security incidents, or protect against fraudulent or illegal activity.
Restrictions on Processing. 4.1 Limitations on Processing - RevComm will Process Personal Data solely as documented instructions unless required to do so by the applicable laws. In this case, RevComm shall inform Customer of that legal requirement before processing, unless the law prohibits this on important grounds of public interest. The Agreement and this DPA shall constitute a part of Customer’s instructions for the RevComm to process Personal Data.
Restrictions on Processing. 4.1. Limitations on Processing - Vendor will Process Company Personal Data solely as instructed in the Agreement and this U.S. State DPA. Except as expressly permitted by the U.S. State Privacy Laws, Vendor is prohibited from (i) Selling or Sharing Company Personal Data, (ii) retaining, using, or disclosing Company Personal Data for any purpose other than for the specific purpose of performing the Services specified in Annex 1 of the DPA, (iii) retaining, using, or disclosing Company Personal Data outside of the direct business relationship between the Parties, and (iv) combining Company Personal Data with Personal Data obtained from, or on behalf of, sources other than Company, except as expressly permitted under applicable U.S. State Privacy Laws.

Collibra is prohibited from retaining, using, or disclosing the Personal Information provided by Customer or which is collected on behalf of Customer for any purpose other than for the specific purpose of performing the Services specified in the Agreement for Customer, as set out in this DPA, or as otherwise permitted by the CCPA.
2. Collibra shall not further collect, sell, or use the Personal Information except in connection with the performance of the Business Purpose.

Except as otherwise permitted by the CCPA or any other applicable data protection legislation in the United States, Vendor is prohibited from (i) retaining, using, or disclosing NortonLifeLock Personal Information for any purpose other than for the specific purpose of performing the Services specified in the Agreement for NortonLifeLock, as set out in this Addendum; (ii) retaining, using, or disclosing NortonLifeLock Personal Information outside of the direct business relationship between Vendor and NortonLifeLock; and (iii) selling NortonLifeLock Personal Information.
Restrictions on Processing. 2.1 Vendor shall Process Publix Personal Data only as necessary for the provision and enhancement of the Services, which may include:
2.1.1 verifying or maintaining the quality or safety of the Services;
2.1.2 undertaking activities to improve, upgrade, or enhance the Services (or any related features or functionality related thereto);
2.1.3 detecting data security incidents or protecting against malicious, fraudulent, or illegal activity;
2.1.4 complying with Data Protection Laws.
2.2 Vendor shall not:
2.2.1 retain, use, disclose, or otherwise Process Publix Personal Data outside of the direct business relationship between Vendor and Publix or for any commercial purpose other than the purpose of performing the Services specified in the Agreement;
2.2.2 sell or share Publix Personal Data or use Publix Personal Data for targeted advertising;
2.2.3 combine Publix Personal Data with any information that Vendor receives outside the business relationship with Publix.
2.3 Vendor shall ensure that any Authorized User is legally required to keep Publix Personal Data confidential, and that such person will only have access to Publix Personal Data to the extent necessary to perform their job functions.
Restrictions on Processing. 3.1. Except as otherwise permitted by applicable law, each Party is prohibited from: (i) Selling Partner- Provided Personal Information; (ii) retaining, using, or disclosing Partner-Provided Personal Information for any purpose other than for the specific purpose of performing the Services specified in the Agreement, including retaining, using, or disclosing Partner-Provided Personal Information for a Commercial Purpose other than providing the Services specified in the Agreement; and (iii) retaining, using, or disclosing Partner-Provided Personal Information outside of the direct business relationship between NortonLifeLock and Partner.
