Common use of Retention and Retrieval of Cards Clause in Contracts

Retention and Retrieval of Cards. Merchant shall use its best efforts, by reasonable and peaceful means, to retain or recover a Card when receiving such instructions upon making a request for Authorization. In carrying out such obligation Merchant will not breach the peace or cause any injury to any person or property.
