Retention of and Access to Records. (A) Financial records, supporting documents, statistical records, and all other records pertinent to this VCDP Grant shall be retained in accordance with the Agency Procedures, Chapter 3. (B) Authorized representatives of the Agency, HUD, the Inspector General of the United States, or the U.S. General Accounting Office shall have access to all books, accounts, records, reports, files, papers, things, or property belonging to, or in use by, the Grantee pertaining to the receipt and administration of Vermont Community Development Program funds, as may be necessary to make audits, examinations, excerpts, and transcripts. (C) Any contract or Agreement entered into by the Grantee that relates or pertains to this VCDP Grant shall contain language comparable to Subparagraph (B) above so as to assure access by an authorized party(s) to the pertinent records of any subrecipient, contractor, or subcontractor. (D) The Final Program Report, Interim Audit Report(s) and/or Final Audit Report shall be maintained with other program documents available for public review, and at least one copy must remain in the Grantee’s files.
