Retirement and Resignation Dates. 9.01 The Teacher, other than in a case of Occasional Teachers, shall provide written notice by November 30 of the intention to resign or retire effective December 31 or January 31 (end of semester 1), and by April 30 of the intention to resign or retire effective June 30 or August 31. This Article shall not apply to Teachers surplus to the system which is governed by Articles 53 and 54.
