Retraining in Case of Technological Change. The Employer agrees that Employees affected by the introduction of any technological change shall be entitled, based on ability and seniority, in that order, to retraining provided by the Employer, in accordance with Clause 42.02, as follows: (a) for operation of the new equipment or use of the new material or performance of the new method or procedure; (b) for qualifying for new jobs created by such changes; (c) for other vacancies with the Employer for which the Employee is qualified. Such training shall be offered in accordance with the job selection criteria referred to in Clause 14.04.
