Common use of Return to Part-Time Status Clause in Contracts

Return to Part-Time Status. If a full-time Employee returns to work from a medical leave to a part-time status, the Employee shall provide his/her Supervisor with the estimated duration of the part-time status. If it is estimated that the part-time status shall last longer than two (2) weeks, the Employer may require a second medical opinion to determine the Employee’s medical condition and work restrictions, with the medical practitioner to be selected by the Employer and the cost of the second opinion shall be borne by the Employer
