Return to Temporary Modified Duty With Restrictions. An employee who has sustained a compensable on-the-job injury, and who is released by the attending physician for return to a temporary modified assignment, shall be eligible to return to work as provided in Department of Administrative Services Statewide Policy #50.020.05 - Early Return to Work of Injured Workers. Such short term assignments must be in accordance with the limitations established by the attending physician and shall be made without regard to procedures for Lateral Transfers. If the employee refuses such assignment, the Agency will notify XXXX of the refusal.
