REVALUATION OF THE TRUST Sample Clauses

REVALUATION OF THE TRUST. As of each Valuation Date, the Employer shall cause to be determined the fair market value of all assets of the Trust, giving effect to (i) earnings, (ii) gains and losses and (iii) appreciation or depreciation whether or not realized. The method of valuation shall be determined by the Trustee and shall be followed with reasonable consistency from year to year. The aggregate amount credited to the Accounts of all Participants having Accounts in the Trust shall be adjusted as of each Valuation Date so as to be equal to the value of all assets in the Trust on such date. Such adjustment shall be made by allocating to the Account of each Participant, as of the Valuation Date and prior to the allocation of contributions and Forfeitures for the Plan Year or such other valuation period, that proportion of the net change in fair market value of all assets as is equal to the proportion that the value of each such Account bears to the value of all such Accounts as of the immediately preceding Valuation Date, after making such adjustments as may be appropriate to reflect contributions, loans or distributions which were made subsequent to the preceding Valuation Date. The Employer may at any other time it deems appropriate under the circumstances secure a determination of the fair market value of the Trust as a whole, of one or more of the separate Investment Funds established under Article 6, or one or more of the separate subaccounts maintained for a Participant. In such event, the Employer may make a determination as of such date of the income, gain or loss on any such respective funds since the preceding Valuation Date. If the allocation of such income, gain or loss will produce a significant change in the value of Participants' Accounts, and if such valuation shall affect a distribution, then in the discretion of the Employer such date may thereupon be deemed a Valuation Date, and the Employer shall allocate such income, gain or loss to the Accounts of Participants in the manner provided in the preceding paragraph.
