Common use of Review by the World Bank of Procurement Decisions Clause in Contracts

Review by the World Bank of Procurement Decisions. Except as the World Bank shall otherwise determine by notice to the Recipient, the following contracts shall be subject to Prior Review by the World Bank: (a) the first contract for Other Services; (b) each contract for consultants’ services procured on the basis of Single Source Selection; (c) each contract for consultants’ services provided by a firm estimated to cost the equivalent of $100,000 or more; and (d) each contract for consultants’ services provided by individual consultants estimated to cost the equivalent of $25,000 or more. All other contracts shall be subject to Post Review by the World Bank.

Review by the World Bank of Procurement Decisions. Except as the World Bank shall otherwise determine by notice to the Recipient, the following contracts shall be subject to Prior Review by the World Bank: (ai) the first contract for Other Servicesselection of individual or firm regardless of selection method; (bii) each contract contracts for consultants’ services procured on the basis of Single Source Selection; (c) each contract for consultants’ services provided by a firm consulting firms estimated to cost the equivalent of $US$100,000 or moremore equivalent; and (diii) each contract contracts for consultants’ services provided by individual consultants estimated to cost the equivalent of $25,000 US$50,000 or moremore equivalent; and (iv) all single source/direct contracting estimated to cost US$1,000 or more equivalent. All other contracts shall be subject to Post Review by the World Bank.

Review by the World Bank of Procurement Decisions. 1. Except as the World Bank shall otherwise determine by notice to the Recipient, the following contracts shall be subject to Prior Review by the World Bank: (a) the first each contract for Other Servicesgoods estimated to cost the equivalent of $50,000 or more; (b) each contract for consultants’ services procured on the basis of Single Source Selection; (c) each contract for consultants’ services provided by a firm estimated to cost the equivalent of $100,000 50,000 or more; and (dc) each contract all contracts for goods procured under direct contracting and force account and consultants’ services provided by individual consultants estimated to cost the equivalent of $25,000 or moreprocured under single source selection and sole source selection. All other contracts shall be subject to Post Review by the World Bank.

All other contracts shall be subject to Post Review by the World Bank.

The Procurement Plan shall otherwise determine by notice to the Recipient, the following set forth those contracts which shall be subject to Prior Review by the World Bank: (a) the first contract for Other Services; (b) each contract for consultants’ services procured on the basis of Single Source Selection; (c) each contract for consultants’ services provided by a firm estimated to cost the equivalent of $100,000 or more; and (d) each contract for consultants’ services provided by individual consultants estimated to cost the equivalent of $25,000 or more’s Prior Review. All other contracts shall be subject to Post Review by the World Bank. 2. Shortlists of consultants for services estimated to cost less than $200,000 equivalent per contract may be composed entirely of national consultants in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 2.7 of the Consultant Guidelines.
