Common use of Revocation of General Release Clause in Contracts

Revocation of General Release. I acknowledge and agree that I have the right to revoke my acceptance of this General Release if I notify the Company in writing within 7 calendar days following the date I sign it. Any revocation, to be effective, must be in writing, signed by me, and either: a) postmarked within 7 calendar days of the date I signed it and addressed to Xxx XxXxxxxx, Executive Vice President, Human Resources, American Eagle Outfitters, Inc., 00 Xxx Xxxxx Xxxxxx, Xxxxxxxxxx, Xxxxxxxxxxxx, 00000; or b) hand delivered within 7 days of execution of this General Release to Xx. XxXxxxxx. This General Release will become effective on the 8th day after I sign it (the "Effective Date"); provided that I have not timely revoked it.
