Common use of Right of Access to Information Clause in Contracts

Right of Access to Information. The negotiating senior staff representative has the right to receive the same information as the company’s chief shop xxxxxxx. If a company has no negoti- ating senior staff representative, then the senior staff representative is entitled to receive the information that must be submitted to the chief shop xxxxxxx re- ferred to in subsections 4 and 5 of section 6 of the Shop Xxxxxxx Agreement for the Financial Sector if a chief shop xxxxxxx has been elected for the com- pany. Information is not provided for groups of fewer than six individuals. The senior staff representative has the right to receive the required infor- mation pertaining to the negotiations of a local agreement in good time before the negotiations start. The employer shall review the general principles of the use of flexiwork at the workplace together with the senior staff representative. The senior staff representative has the right to be informed once a year of the hours used on competence development and training as referred to in section 6, subsection 9 of the collective labour agreement.
