Right of Access to Protected Health Information. Business Associate hereby agrees to provide access to Protected Health Information in a designated record set (if applicable and as defined in the HIPAA Rules) to Covered Entity or, as directed by Covered Entity, to an Individual in order to meet the requirements under 45 C.F.R. 164.524, at the written request of Covered Entity.

Right of Access to Protected Health Information. Except as otherwise limited in this Agreement, Business Associate hereby agrees to provide, in a reasonable time and manner, access to Protected Health Information in a Designated Record Set (if applicable and as defined in HIPAA) to Covered Entity or, as directed by Covered Entity, to an Individual or Individual’s designee in order to meet the requirements under 45 C.F.R. 164.524, at the written request of Covered Entity. If Business Associate maintains an Electronic Health Record, Business Associate shall provide such information in electronic format to enable Covered Entity to fulfill Covered Entity’s obligations under the HITECH Act.

  • Health Information System i. As required by 42 CFR 438.242(a), the MCP shall maintain a health information system that collects, analyzes, integrates, and reports data. The system shall provide information on areas including, but not limited to, utilization, grievances and appeals, and MCP membership terminations for other than loss of Medicaid eligibility.
