Common use of Right of City to Select Carrier Clause in Contracts

Right of City to Select Carrier. It shall be the right of the City to select and, from time to time, to change any of its carriers that provide the benefits set forth in subsection 1., above; at its sole option, the City shall have the right to provide any or all of these benefits on a self-insured basis and/or to self-administer them (in this circumstance the term "carrier" as used in this Article shall also mean self-insurer and/or self-administrator).

Right of City to Select Carrier. 24 It shall be the right of the City to select and, from time to time, to change any of its carriers 25 that provide the benefits set forth in subsection 1., above. of this Article; at its sole option, the City 26 shall have the right to provide any or all of these benefits on a self-insured basis and/or to 27 self-administer them (in this circumstance circumstance, the term "carrier" as used in this Article shall 1 also mean self-insurer and/or self-administrator).

It shall be the right of the City to select and, from time to time, to change any of its carriers that provide the benefits set forth in subsection 1Section 37.1., above; at its sole option, the City shall have the right to provide any or all of these benefits on a self-insured basis and/or to self-administer them (in this circumstance the term "carrier" as used in this Article shall also mean self-insurer and/or self-administrator.).
