RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS ON STEP-IN. 8.1 Commencing on the date the Department receives the Step-in Notice and approves the appointment of the Step-in Party if required by Section 7.2 above (“Step-in Date”) and thereafter during the Step-in Period, the Step-in Party shall be entitled to exercise and enjoy the rights and powers expressed to be assumed by or granted to a Step-in Party under this Direct Agreement.
