Rights and Obligations to Demonstrate Improvement. 1. After reading and discussing the written appraisal or evaluation with the appraiser or evaluator, the teacher will be given specific and detailed suggestions and recommendations regarding means to improve performance and offered specific assistance to obtain such improvement. It shall be the joint responsibility of the teacher and principal to develop a written plan to overcome any reported deficiencies. At the teacher’s request, an Association representative of his/her choice shall be offered the opportunity to participate in the development of this plan. The principal may request consultation assistance from another member(s) of the administration in the development or implementation of the written plan.
