Common use of Rights in Data, Patent and Copyrights/Public Use Clause in Contracts

Rights in Data, Patent and Copyrights/Public Use. The University shall have unrestricted authority to reproduce, distribute and use (in whole or in part) any reports, data or materials prepared by Contractor pursuant to this Agreement. No such documents or other materials produced (in whole or in part) with funds provided to Contractor by the University shall be subject to copyright or patent by Contractor in the United States or any other country. Contractor agrees that all deliverables hereunder shall be made freely available to the general public to the extent required by law.
