Rights of Faculty in Federation. ‌ The Employer will not interfere with the legal right of faculty members to organize, join, and support the Federation for whatever purpose in which it may legally engage. The Employer agrees it will not discriminate against any faculty member because of membership in the Federation, because of participation in any lawful activity on behalf of the Federation, or because of any action taken within the duly established grievance procedure. The Federation shall not discriminate against any faculty member for non-membership in the Federation. The Federation further recognizes its responsibility as bargaining agent and agrees to represent all faculty members in the bargaining unit without discrimination, interference, restraint, or coercion.
