Common use of Rights to Visit Clause in Contracts

Rights to Visit. An authorized representative of the Union shall have the right to visit the premises at any time during working hours for the purpose of investigating current working conditions and compliance with the terms herein, and shall have reasonable access to all documents pertinent to the investigation of grievances or disciplines, provided such representative reports to an official of the City upon entering the premises and such visit is made in such a manner as not to disrupt the City operations. It is the intent of the parties that reasonable access to documents will be allowed in the manner that will least interfere with City operations.
