Common use of Ringgit Malaysia Card Account payments Clause in Contracts

Ringgit Malaysia Card Account payments. (a) Charges in the Ringgit Malaysia Card Account (which shall include for the avoidance of doubt any Card Transactions within Mainland China which have been converted from Renminbi into Ringgit Malaysia) shall be settled in Ringgit Malaysia at any branches of the Bank in Malaysia or by other means as advised by the Bank from time to time. (b) The Bank may (exceptionally but without any obligation) accept other foreign currencies acceptable for payments to the Ringgit Malaysia Card Account. (c) In the event of payment in accordance with clause 12.3(b) above, the foreign currencies will be converted into Ringgit Malaysia at the exchange rate quoted by the date as applicable on the date of conversion. (d) If the amount of Ringgit Malaysia after the conversion of such foreign currency does not cover the total Ringgit Malaysia Charges outstanding in the Ringgit Malaysia Card Account, the Account Holder and a Cardmember (to which such Charges in Ringgit Malaysia relate) shall remain liable for any difference caused by such exchange conversion.
