Common use of Risk Disclosure Statement Clause in Contracts

Risk Disclosure Statement. (a) A Member shall obtain a written acknowledgement from its Customer that the Customer is aware of the risks associated with trading in Contracts.

(a) A Member shall obtain a written acknowledgement from its Customer that the Customer is aware of the risks associated with trading in Contractscontracts, as contemplated under the Act. In the case of a Bank Trading Member, the written acknowledgement shall include an acknowledgement by the Customer that the Investor Compensation Scheme contemplated under Part XI of the Act does not apply in relation to the Bank Trading Member.
