ROLE STATEMENT. The Grade 1 Physiotherapist will be involved in rotations across Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Craigieburn Centre and Bundoora Centre. There are a total of 23 rotations across Northern Health’s site offering acute, subacute and community/outpatient rotations (centre based & home based therapy). This role may be included in a four month rotation in which one of the five working days is rostered on the weekend. This position involves the provision of outpatient and community services for clients dialysis and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients, living in the northern region. The OT will be responsible for completing pre-dialysis assessments for both peritoneal dialysis and home haemodialysis as well as the provision of OT interventions to support patients to maintain their designated preferred dialysis modality.
