Common use of Rounding Clause in Contracts

Rounding. (a) All intermediate calculations made for the purpose of ascertaining any sum payable by either Party under this Agreement shall be made to four decimal places without rounding. The final such sum shall be rounded to the second decimal place; and, in both cases, a figure of five, or greater than five in the final place of decimals shall cause a rounding up of the penultimate decimal. (b) Any quantity expressed for the purposes of this Agreement or any Nomination to be made hereunder in kWh shall be rounded to the nearest kWh and an exact half shall be rounded upwards.
