SAFEGUARDING AND SECURITY OF PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION. a. Business Associate shall use appropriate safeguards, including complying with Subpart C of 45 CFR Part 164 with respect to electronic Protected Health Information, to prevent use or disclosure of Protected Health Information other than as provided for by the Agreement. b. Business Associate shall cooperate in good faith in response to any reasonable requests from the Covered Entity to discuss, review, inspect, and/or audit Business Associate’s safeguards.
